Join Katy Bowman and a community of your fellow movers in stunning Corvallis and Philomath, Oregon, for two days of laboring, walking, and reveling in the ecology of our movement. At this innovative and exciting Movement Matters retreat, you’ll join Katy Bowman in Oregon to engage in movement that matters—to our bodies, our communities, and our planet. 14 hours of "class" time with Katy (includes walking time).

Wilderness Moves with Katy Bowman and Doniga Markegaard

Thursday, April 5th, 1:00pm- 4:00pm
Join author and wildlife tracker Doniga Markegard, and author and biomechanist Katy Bowman for Wilderness Moves! Wild animal tracking and natural movement join forces at this dynamic learning event in Pescadero, CA. Learn from both Markegard and Bowman as you make your way over gorgeous, varied terrain. Participants should dress for the weather, and bring their own snacks and water. The guided hike will last about two and a half hours, with time afterward to have get your book signed and take photos.

There's an option to pre-order copies of Dawn Again by Doniga Markegard and Movement Matters by Katy Bowman. Books will NOT be available for sale on site, so order yours in advance to avoid disappointment.

Dynamic Aging Retreat at 1440 Multiversity, Scotts Valley, CA

Join me in Scotts Valley, CA, for Dynamic Aging: Simple Exercises for Improving Strength and Confident Movement Through a Texture-rich World. We'll experience both indoor and outdoor movement activities on the redwood-covered property, in 8 hours of class time with Katy. You'll learn how to care for your body—feet, ankles, knees, hips, back, shoulders, pelvic floor, brain, and all the rest—in a whole-body, whole-life way.

Movement Ecology During Pregnancy: An educational retreat for doulas, midwives, physical therapists, pre/postnatal fitness trainers…and those they tend to!

Join Katy Bowman and a community of your fellow movement and birthing professionals in beautiful Sequim, Washington, for two days of dynamic movement education, walking, nature, and reveling in the power of movement during pregnancy, birth, and birth support.

At this innovative and exciting Movement Matters retreat, join Katy Bowman in Sequim to engage in movement for better birth ecology.

We’re so excited to gather with birth and pregnancy workers, fitness professionals who work with mothers, and pregnant women who’d like to learn more about the movements that can best support their hardworking bodies. Attendance is limited to 30 participants. Note, you do not have to be a professional, although this class will be taught from that perspective.
